Frequently Asked Questions

What geographical area do you cover?

Normally Kent, Essex and Sussex. However we’re happy to consider requests to travel further a field – please email us for further details.

Can I see you play ‘live’?

We do play at many social and working men clubs across Kent which you would be welcome to visit although they may not be local to you. As you’ll appreciate, the people who book us for private functions prefer not to have uninvited guests turning up, even if it’s only to watch the band for 10 minutes.
However, you are very welcome to come along to one of our rehearsals, so you can hear what we sound like ‘live’. Simply email us if you'd like to visit a club or to find out when we're next rehearsing.

I can’t hear the demo tracks on your website – can you send me your free demo CD?

Certainly. Email us your address and we’ll post one to you straightaway.

How do I make a booking?

Simply go to Contact us page and complete your details. We will get back to you with our availability. If you have any questions you can send us an e-mail.

Can I book you provisionally?

By all means. We’re happy to hold a particular date for you although we do ask that you confirm one way or the other within a week or so. If we receive an enquiry in the meantime we’ll make sure we give you ‘first refusal’.

Can we request a specific song for our ‘first dance’?

Yes. Providing we have sufficient time to rehearse we will be happy to perform your special song.

How long does it take you to set up your equipment?

It takes about one hour to set up. If possible we like to have a sound check but we realise this isn’t always possible – for example, if you’re getting married and your guests are already situated in the room when we arrive.

Do you use a sequencer to ‘fill out’ your on-stage sound?

Absolutely not. Every sound you hear will be an authentic one generated by us. We believe that if you book a ‘live’ band then that’s exactly what you should get.

Can we use your sound system for speeches/raffles etc?

By all means, although bear in mind that this facility won’t be available to you until after we’ve set up our equipment and had a full sound check.

How long do you play for?

We normally perform two ‘live’ sets, each one lasting about an hour, but we can agree the specific timings with you in advance.

Can you provide pre-recorded music when you’re not performing?

Certainly. We’ve got a range of CD music that we can play either to keep the party going between our ‘live’ sets and/or to provide background music (for example, while your guests are eating). We've also got some disco lights that add to the atmosphere.

Do you need feeding?

Yes please. Often it can be 10 hours from the time we leave our front doors to the time we get back home so a little sustenance would be most welcome. Normally we join with guests at the buffet but as a minimum we ask for a sufficient quantity of sandwiches and assorted snacks for 6 people.

Do I need to arrange a changing room for you?

Ideally yes. Your venue should be happy to provide this free of charge.
